The owner is a long time owner of British car. Purchased some NOS (new old stock) a number of years ago. Along with Dealership signs, got the key cutting equipment that was sold to British car dealerships by Curtis. Not a locksmith by trade. I can re-key locks and also look to purchase used ignition switch with key code numbers on face of the switch. Example: FNR 5, MRN 50, FA 501, FP 626, FS 876.

I also have a ring of orignial wilmot breeden keys and american keys in FNR, FA, FP, FS, FT series that can be sent to owners of British cars. If unable to find your key code number on later cars using FS key, or on the glove box lock, trunk handle stem or the door locks. You will have to insert each key into the lock, find your key code number. Request a check in amount of $25.00 to cover postage, insurance and certified receipt for the keys. Main thing is to get the key ring back. (OFFER IN USA ONLY) Car owners will be requested to send the ring back as soon as possible, do carry this item to shows I attend.
If you presently have only one set of keys, I would suggest you purchase an American key blank (Curtis, Ilco etc.) and have duplicates made. I would also suggest you write down your present key number on the title for the car. If you lose your keys, problems and expenses are incurred. Note, the British car blanks were also used on Volvo cars with part number data: Wilmot Breeden Key stamped UNION
